什么吸引你加入微软?
I wanted to join a dynamic and energetic company. Microsoft has a reputation for being a campground of great ideas and opportunities. To tackle very complex server products and get heavily involved in meaty marketing issues was super-exciting for me. In fact, I came to Microsoft with experience working in large companies on start-up divisions. That ever-new and challenging environment was what I was accustomed to, and it was attractive to me.
微软工作让你感到非常与众不同的地方是什么?
There is so much collaboration. You are interdependent with colleagues throughout the organization-from product to product, from department to department, from services to the Customer Satisfaction team etc. I've been surprised by how much cross-pollination there is.
你的经验能给微软带来什么样的帮助?
My parents gave me incredible educational opportunities, both in terms of schooling when I was younger. With 9 years diverse experience, I look forward to running a business at Microsoft. The reason I'm working on Windows Server Group is that we face lots of competition and difficult challenges. I want to be in a place where things are hard.
你在微软的工作目标是什么?
If you go into marketing, you have to like people and you have to care about helping their lives. Microsoft truly does provide the products and services which can save companies money, save IT professionals time, help end users be more productive, grow a business from 10 to 500 people, make teenagers laugh, and help kids learn. Microsoft's mission statement really resonates with me.
在微软工作的经历中让你至今难忘的是什么?
I'm happiest when I can sink my teeth into an interesting business problem. It doesn't have to be big, but it does have to be one that needs to be noodled, dug into, vetted, and figured out. At Microsoft, I've been given opportunities of ever-increasing complexity.

我来自广州。在就读MBA之前,已有不同行业的工作经验。我觉得这种多元工作经历让我形成了多角度分析问题的思维习惯——而这对于从事商务分析的工作很有帮助。

是的。微软给予了员工以充分的信任和授权。作为团队的一个新成员,我被赋予了许多重要的职责——当然也有相应的权力。我见到过许多例子:如果一位新员工能够意识到其个人价值与公司紧密相连,那他(她)便会对公司业务产生重要的影响。

作为一位商务分析师,我一直致力于提升商务智能、释放商务价值、优化商务成果。

What is MACH?
MACH stands for the ‘Microsoft Academy for College Hires’. The MACH program is an accelerated career development program that aims to provide worldwide undergraduate and graduate employees in Microsoft with a smooth transition from academic to professional life. In Microsoft (China), MACH employees in Sales, Marketing and Services roles get the opportunity to:
·         Experience world class training in China, Asia and the USA.
·         Experience Real Leadership through face to face meetings with Microsoft Senior Leaders.
·         Build an unrivalled network with the brightest graduate talent from all over the world.
·         Gain support needed to fast track their career.

Who is eligible for the MACH program?
·         Bachelor, Master or PHD degree holders with less than 24 months work experience.
·         MBA graduates who are graduating this year, with less than 5 years combined corporate work experience

What can MACH hires expect?
The MACH program will provide hires with a set of skills to help bridge the gap from academic to professional life. Hires will receive quality training to develop the skills to be successful in the company. There will be a supportive environment to help hires transition into their professional roles and hires will also have an opportunity to learn more about the worldwide business with a global peer network.
